MetaTrader 5 is a multi-asset platform developed by MetaQuotes. It connects you to your broker account to view instruments, analyse markets and send orders. Features and available instruments vary across desktop, mobile, web and account types.

Read market movements
Open charts for multiple instruments and compare timeframes. Desktop offers 21 timeframes, from one minute to one month, so you can move between detail and the broader picture.
Build your analysis
Use technical indicators and drawing tools to study trends and levels. Adjust their parameters and colours to suit your approach, and save chart templates for consistent setups.
Manage orders and positions
Monitor open positions, pending orders and trade details. Available order types, hedging or netting, and tradable instruments depend on the account and broker server.

Desktop supports Expert Advisors, MQL5 indicators and strategy testing. The mobile app does not run these programs; historical test results do not guarantee future performance.

Get started, step by step

Choose your device & download
Use the button for your operating system. Links open an official MetaQuotes download or its linked app store.

Add your trading account
Open MetaTrader 5 and choose to log in to an existing trading account. On desktop, this option is in the File menu.

Select the correct server
Enter the trading account number, its password and the server supplied by ALS MARKETS. Website portal credentials are not necessarily your trading platform credentials.

Confirm the connection
Check that your account appears and prices update. If you cannot find the server or sign in, contact our team on WhatsApp to check the connection details.
